Collaboration between parents and schools is necessary in order to deal effectively with bully problems of school children. Responsibility for educating parents about bullying lies in part with schools. Schools need to keep parents informed about what policies and procedures they are adopting to prevent bullying, as well as the opportunities they are providing for meetings with parents to discuss specific issues and cases. Further advice and interventions are needed to assist families in preventing and dealing with problems associated with bullying (Rigby, 2013).
